NaNo WiMo II: NaNo-ReRe-WriMa-Mo

Well, I've pissed away the last year without doing a thing on 7 Steps to Perfection. Why sign up to write another? In fact, is there a way to get off the mailing list? Instead, I will devote this November to revising and re-writing 7 Steps, based on the great feedback I got from readers, like this one*: "Wait, you said he had one sister and his father was dead, but when he died you say: 'He was 37 at the time of his death and is survived by his mother and father, a brother, and two sisters, all of Valley Centre, Pennsylvania.'" Hmmm, a few things need to be cleaned up.

*Thanks and a tip of mon chapeau to Anna-Maria D'Mestiere for that eagle-eye

Seven Steps to Perfection Update: December, 2009

OK, so Dolly-girl talked me into trying the NaNoWriMo thing as I mentioned on this page before. Well, sure enough, I put my mind to it and a month later, 7 Steps to Perfection is out for reading with some people I trust. So, check that off the list. Novel written.

Lately I've had a couple other things cooking. The restaurant reviews, of course, over at Looking at Life, and then I've been helping Rouge up in Canada out with some poutine reviews. That's hazardous duty as poutine is not exactly what Dr. Rachel Graves, MD, my sawbones, recommends for a healthy lifestyle. If I keep this up I'll have to get her to upgrade my dose of Poutin-A-Tor, the new drug from Pfizer Québec

NaNoWriMo: I'm writing a novel!

Dolly-girl told me I ought to take some of these wild ideas I get and some of the suspicion I carry around with me and turn it into a book. So I'm gonna try. Maybe it will get me a look through the wave! I'll keep you posted on my project. I think it's gonna be a murder mystery...
